Dussssss, daar ging ik nog maar weer een keer mijn autumnal harvest kol opnieuw breien.
Het heeft een poos geduurd, omdat ik aan het wachten was tot Sockmaticians bioche boek uit kwam (Sockmatician’s Double-Knitted Brioche) en dat was eerder dit jaar!
Mijn verwachting met het stekenpatroon klopte; het krult nu niet meer in elkaar!
Helaas heb ik wat te makkelijk gedacht hoe vaak ik de meederingen moest maken, waardoor het nog niet echt helemaal naar mijn zin is.
Echter is het oranjige garen nu zo vaak opnieuw gebruikt dat het te ver heen is om het nog een keer te doen.
Ik laat het dus maar als een kol die ik zonder jas draag.
Het oranjige garen is Zitron Triologie in de kleur, hispania 07A.
Het groene garen is. Lang Yarns, Jawoll, kleur 317.

Re-revisiting the autumnal harvest cowl
Sooooo, after knitting the autumnal harvest cowl for the umpteenth time, I did it again!
I ‘just’ had to wait for Sockmaticians book (Sockmatician’s Double-Knitted Brioche) to come out to revisit this cowl again.
That happened earlier this year, so I set about seeing if my assumtion was correct that this time, the cowl wouldn’t curl up on itself when using the double knitted honeycomb brioche stitch (what a mouthfull right!).
And hooray! It didn’t.
I sadly took the simple way out of re-immagining it, and did not properly calculate how much I needed to do the increases.
So it still isn’t completely to my wishes, but the orangy yarn probably won’t be happy with another reknit, so I’ll keep it as a cowl I’ll be wearing without a jacket.
The orangy yarn is; Zitron Triologie in the colourway hispania 07A.
The green yarn is; Lang Yarns, Jawoll, colour 317.
