Het is voor mij een gewoonte geworden om elke dag wat tijd te besteden aan frivolité.
Dus toen ik klaar was met het “Samen staan we sterk hartjes” project en vervolgens de kerst fair had ik een nieuw project nodig.
Nou dat was niet zo moeilijk want ik heb al twee grote projecten klaar staan. Als in; ik heb de patronen en het garen al gekocht.
Het project waar ik inmiddels mee gestart ben is het patroon “Vortices” van Mike Lyon, ook wel bekend als “Shuttle commander”.
Ik heb er voor gekozen om het in 3 kleuren te maken; groen, aubergine en oranje.
Het garen dat ik hiervoor gebruik is Wonderfil Konfetti in de kleuren; KT704, KT818 & KT410.
Het garen is ongeveer zo dun als naaigaren, dus daar komt het mini om het hoekje kijken.
Op dit moment is het nog een hoopje deels aan elkaar gezette onderdelen, maar zodra ik met het oranje garen begin zal dat een geheel worden.
Tot slot denk ik niet dat ik de rand er aan zal maken, maar zo ver ben ik nog niet.

Big tiny project
Tatting has become a daily activity for me, which meant that after I concluded the “Holding hands hearts” project and subsequently the christmas fair I needed a new project.
It was not difficult to choose, because there are two big tatting projects that I want to get my hands on.
The thread and patterns are already in my possession, so no waiting required.
The one I have now started is the pattern “Vortices” by Mike Lyon, aka. “Shuttle commander”.
I’ve chosen to make it in three colours; green, plum, and orange.
The thread is Wonderfil Konfetti in the colours; KT704, KT818 & KT410.
This thread is about as thin as sewing thread, so that is where the tiny comes in.
At the moment it is still a bunch of partly connected parts, but when I start with the orange, it will all come together.
So far I’m leaning towards not adding the border.
