Tijdens het maken van frivolité projecten gebruik ik regelmatig een prikpen, echter viel het mij op dat die de makkelijk weg rolt. Dat is nou niet echt handig voor een prikpen met een scherpe punt.
Een speldenkussentje maken leek me een goede oplossing. Ik heb wol, viltnaalden en een thee lichtje houder die goed als de basis van het speldenkussentje kan functioneren.
Eerst een pluk zwartbles wol die niet fijn is om mee te spinnen (breekt erg snel), daarna ´afval´ wol (grotendeels shropshire) van spinprojecten die na wat kammen prima te gebruiken is voor dit projectje om een lekker fel kleurtje te geven aan het kussentje.

Little pin cushion
Most of my current crafting time is spent tatting. While doing that I regularly use a thin sharp awl for fixing mistakes and such.
This awl has a tendency to roll away, which of course is a stabby hazard. Entirely not recommendable.
So making a pin cushion came to mind. I have wool, felting needles and even a thee light holder that would do nicely as the base.
First came some zwartbles wool that breaks too easily to spin with nicely.
Next came scrapped wool (mostly shropshire) from spinning projects.
After some combing it was good to finish the pin cushion in a bright green colour.
