Deze twee paar sokken zijn voor een deel gelijk.
Ze zijn gemaakt volgens hetzelfde patroon, met hetzelfde garen en dezelfde breienaalden.
Wat wel anders is zijn de maten en de lengte van de boord:
Mijn man heeft graag een zo lang mogelijke boord, zelf heb ik liever beenwarmers aan, dus hoeft de boord voor mij niet heel lang te zijn.
Ik had 2 bollen van deze wol en omdat ik al langer weet dat mijn man van lange boorden aan zijn sokken houd besloot ik uit elke bol 1 sok voor mij en daarna 1 sok voor hem te breien, zodat de boord voor zijn sokken extrra lang kon worden.
Het garen is Lana Grossa’s Meilenweit merino christmas, in de kleur 6790.
Het inmiddels vast bekende patroon dat ik weer heb gebruikt is Sockmatician’s Toe-ups.

Two pairs of christmas socks
These two pairs of sock are pretty much the same, but look rather different from each other.
They are made with the same pattern, the same yarn, and the same needles.
The differences are the size and cuff lengths:
My partner likes to have long cuffs on his socks, preferably as long as possible.
I´d rather put on some legwarmers with my socks, so the cuffs don´t have to be very long to suit my tastes.
I had two balls of this sock yarn, and knowing my partners cuff length preference, I decided to knit 1 sock for me followed by 1 sock for him out of each ball, so the cuffs for his socks could become very long indeed!
The yarn is Lana Grossa’s Meilenweit merino christmas, in the colour 6790.
